This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.

The position provides an exceptional opportunity to engage in a stimulating academic atmosphere while managing a part-time clinical schedule. You will work alongside colleagues to deliver comprehensive dermatologic care, participate in teaching and mentoring, and support the academic objectives of the department.
- Conduct thorough assessments for acute dermatological conditions, ensuring prompt and appropriate interventions.
- Administer the admission process for patients presenting with severe or acute dermatological disorders.
- Provide continuous management for chronic dermatological diseases, including psoriasis, eczema, and skin malignancies.
- Perform and supervise laser surgical procedures, with an emphasis on mentoring and overseeing resident involvement.
- Deliver tele-dermatology services, facilitating remote consultations and follow-up care to enhance patient accessibility.
