Job Summary

The position will serve as the Program and Career Coordinator for Think Beach and the inclusive Post-Secondary Education Program. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations under the supervision of the Director of the Community Clinic for Counseling and Educational Services (CCCES).

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Coordination:
    Assist with day-to-day operations of the program including: recruit, select, train, schedule and supervise peer mentors.
  • Career Coordination:
    Seek and develop on-campus and community-based internships and competitive integrated employment opportunities for Think Beach students and alumni.
  • Program Evaluation:
    Oversee graduate assistants in collecting quantitative and qualitative data on the Think Beach program, including nationally validated assessments (i.e., Self-Determination Inventory Report (SDI-SR) and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales).

1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.

Duration of Appointment

This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date. This appointment is for an 10/12 pay‑plan position. The incumbent works 10 months per year and is paid over 12 months.

Compensation

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

CSU Classification Salary Range:
The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4,236 - $6,023 per month.
