Job SummaryThe position will serve as the Program and Career Coordinator for Think Beach and the inclusive Post-Secondary Education Program. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations under the supervision of the Director of the Community Clinic for Counseling and Educational Services (CCCES).
Key Responsibilities- Program Coordination:
Assist with day-to-day operations of the program including: recruit, select, train, schedule and supervise peer mentors. - Career Coordination:
Seek and develop on-campus and community-based internships and competitive integrated employment opportunities for Think Beach students and alumni. - Program Evaluation:
Oversee graduate assistants in collecting quantitative and qualitative data on the Think Beach program, including nationally validated assessments (i.e., Self-Determination Inventory Report (SDI-SR) and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales).
SEC/Community Clinic for Counseling and Educational Services
Time Base1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
Duration of AppointmentThis is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date. This appointment is for an 10/12 pay‑plan position. The incumbent works 10 months per year and is paid over 12 months.
ClassificationStudent Services Professional II 10/12
CompensationSalary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range:
The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4,236 - $6,023 per month.
