Salary Range: $103,008 to $106,008 per year (12 monthly payments). Salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field; degree completed or in final stages by August 1, 2026.
- Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in research and related scholarly activities.
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first‑generation students.
- At least two years of teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related areas.
- At least one year of postdoctoral experience, especially in cybersecurity, computer and network security, hardware and embedded system security, cryptography, or trustworthy computing.
- Experience working with populations demographically and/or socioeconomically similar to the CSULB student body.
- Experience mentoring or supporting students using inclusive and culturally relevant teaching strategies in a diverse classroom.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer networks, and related areas of computer engineering and computer science.
- Contribute to the development, assessment, and continuous improvement of the curriculum in cybersecurity, computer networks, and related technical fields.
- Engage in sustained research and scholarly activities that result in peer‑reviewed publications and external funding.
- Advise and mentor students to support their academic and professional growth.
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and broader community.
