Salary Range: $66,084 – $72,500 per year (commensurate with qualifications and experience)

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Outdoor Recreation, Resource Management, Tourism, Social Media Marketing, and Sustainability (primarily in‑person; hybrid or online as needed).
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners to expand student opportunities in the outdoor recreation and tourism industry.
• Participate in service to department, college, university, profession, and community.

• M. A./M. S. in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, Travel, Tourism, or related discipline (degree at time of application or official notification of completion by Aug. 1, 2026).
• B.A./B.S. in Recreation, Parks, Tourism, or related field.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the college level.
• Commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low‑socioeconomic and first‑generation students.

• Experience in teaching or training excellence at the college or professional level.
• Experience working successfully with a diverse student population.
• Demonstrated commitment to student mentorship.
• At least two years of related professional experience in Outdoor Recreation, Travel, or Tourism.
• Experience collaborating with populations demographically or socioeconomically similar to the university student body.
• Experience mentoring or supporting students using inclusive and culturally relevant teaching strategies in a diverse classroom.
