Emotional Growth Center Teacher, Secondary, 2026‑27 – Stephens
PurposeManages the total instructional program for emotionally disturbed students in individual and group behavior skills and social-emotional growth. Works with individual teachers, counselors, support personnel, parents, teaching assistants, volunteers, community agencies, and referring school personnel to support middle school age students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized instruction and social-emotional curriculum for emotionally disturbed students.
- Coordinate with teachers, counselors, support staff, parents, and community agencies.
- Facilitate individual and group behavior skill training.
- Advocate for student progress and support inclusion efforts.
- Valid Oregon Teaching License with Special Education endorsement appropriate for assigned level(s).
- Experience working with emotionally disturbed students in a middle school setting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Licensed teacher with FTE 1.0 and permanent status.
Salary prorated based on FTE: $53,831 – $105,956 (Pro-rated differential based on FTE up to $6,271).
