• Design and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s growth and development.
• Foster language, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills through inquiry and exploration.

• Communicate with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.

• Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
• Permit: Valid Associate Teacher Permit or higher (CCTC).
• Experience: Previous experience working with young children in an early learning setting.

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
• Valid Associate Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).

• Prior experience working with young children in an early learning setting.
• Knowledge of play-based, inquiry-driven learning approaches (experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired practices is a plus).

• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ability to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching.
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic preschool setting.
• Enthusiasm for professional growth and lifelong learning.

• Candidates currently enrolled in relevant coursework toward permit renewal or advancement are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) (Khmer/English) (Tagalog/English) skills are a plus but not required.
