PositionDetails and Responsibilities
Long Beach Day Nursery (LBDN) is growing our early childhood teaching team. We have full-time Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher positions available at both of our branches. Our teachers have the important responsibility of instructing children in developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for child development. You will supervise and assist children with general routines, such as art, literacy, science, mealtime, and potty‑training activities, and support lesson planning, maintain an organized environment, and ensure proper care of educational equipment and materials.
Minimum Requirements- Some ECE units or prior experience working with children is required
- Maintain a collaborative, team‑player attitude while working with a successful team
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent patience and enjoy creating a fun environment
- Willingness to learn
- Capable of remaining punctual with great time‑management skills
- Nurturing, friendly, positive attitude and professional
- Associate Degree (or higher) in ECE, preferred
- Experience with infants and toddlers is a plus

Full‑time, pay range $22.00 - $23.50 per hour depending on education.
Schedules range from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. 40 hours a week.
