The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) invites applications for the tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in Fall 2027. This position is targeted toward Theoretical or Empirical Modeling candidates.
Review of applicants starts on August 20, 2026.
Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or a closely related field, with a focus on theoretical or empirical modeling. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited or EQUIS institution by August 1, 2027.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Demonstrated potential for research, scholarly and creative activities in theoretical or empirical modeling and its marketing applications leading to publications
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first-generation students
