Student Success Counselor

As a Student Success Coach and Mentor with City Year, you'll serve full-time in a partner public school, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this nonprofit, education-focused role, you'll provide in-class support, small-group tutoring, and one-on-one mentoring while collaborating closely with teachers and school staff. Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-class and small-group academic support to students
• Mentor students to build social-emotional and leadership skills
• Collaborate with teachers to identify and support students' needs
• Track student progress and use data to inform interventions
• Facilitate after-school or enrichment programs
• Communicate with school staff and families as needed
• Model inclusive, equitable practices aligned with City Year's values
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development
