Long Beach Day Nursery (LBDN) is growing our early childhood teaching team. If you're looking for a more flexible schedule and an opportunity to gain more teaching experience, the Substitute Teacher position may be a great fit for you. Our teachers have the important responsibility of instructing children in developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for child development. You will have the opportunity to supervise and assist children with general routines, such as feeding, mealtime, diapering, and potty-training activities. You will also implement lesson plans, maintain an organized environment, and update all educational equipment and materials.

LBDN is a high quality, nationally accredited, nonprofit early childhood organization serving over 250 children annually from ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. LBDN believes in developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum and practices continuity of care.
Pay range $20.00 - $20.50 per hour.
Schedules are between 7:30am - 5:00pm on an as needed basis and the candidate's availability.
