Lead Concrete Scientist - Long Beach, CA
Twining, innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with over 120 years of history, is seeking a Lead Concrete Scientist for its Twining Concrete Insight - Concrete Engineering group. The offices and laboratories of Twining are located throughout California. The geographical placement of the candidate will be subject to discussion.
Responsibilities- Responsible for specialty concrete testing, concrete material evaluations, construction troubleshooting, forensic investigation tasks, and project management.
- Responsible for service development in the field of value concrete engineering and specialized testing.
- Responsible for report preparation and client support.
- Responsible for project-specific proposal preparations.
- Degree in civil engineering or concrete materials science.
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials science and applied engineering.
- Experience with concrete production and construction practices.
- Experience with structural design is preferred.
- Experience with laboratory evaluations and tests of concrete and materials for concrete.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and clients.
