Role DescriptionThe Senior Project Controls Estimator will oversee and manage cost estimation and control processes for projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing detailed project estimates, monitoring project budgets, identifying variances, and providing regular financial reporting. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze project data, and support decision-making to optimize project outcomes. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Long Beach, CA.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in cost estimation, budget planning, and project controls
- Proficiency in project management processes, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Solid understanding of demand response, energy efficiency, and sustainable engineering principles
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and financial forecasting
- Experience with engineering or construction projects is highly preferred
- Proficiency in applicable project management software tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Relevant professional certification is a plus (e.g., PMP, CCP, or similar)
