Twining, innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with over 120 years of history, is seeking a Lead Concrete Scientistfor its Twining Concrete Insight - Concrete Engineering group. The offices and laboratories of Twining are located throughout California. The geographical placement of the candidate will be subject to discussion.

• Responsible for specialty concrete testing, concrete material evaluations, construction troubleshooting, forensic investigation tasks, and project management.
• Responsible for service development in the field of value concrete engineering and specialized testing.
• Responsible for report preparation and client support.
• Responsible for project-specific proposal preparations.

• Degree in civil engineering or concrete materials science.
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials science and applied engineering.
• Experience with concrete production and construction practices.
• Experience with structural design is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory evaluations and tests of concrete and materials for concrete.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and clients.
