- Performs receiving inspection of purchased parts and subassemblies. Verifies supplier compliance with all purchase order requirements, specifications and/or drawing requirements.
- Performs in-process inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements, verifies accuracy of entries on data sheets, work orders, adhesive mixes, and other data-keeping systems.
- Performs finals inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements and is the liaison to the program Quality Engineer (Reports quality problems or findings to the QE). Assists Quality Engineering and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities.
- Investigate manufacturing product quality and compliance issues reported from the field, analyze results, determine root cause/probable cause, and initiate and review reports.
- Participate in escalation tasks and activities, including Project Risk Assessments (PRA) and Corrective/Preventive action(s) – CAPAs, SCARs, as determination by
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in aerospace industry or equivalent discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience in quality inspection
- Familiarity with IPC 610, IPC 620, IPC 7711/7721, and J-STD-001 Standards
- Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO
9001 requirements - Familiarity reading GD&T drawings and verifying measurements
- Experience with product or device complaints, investigations, and/or root cause analysis
- Experience with NCRs, FMEAs, CAPAs, or Product Risk Assessments
- Passion for the space industry
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Base Salary: $24- $30 per hour

- Work Location: this a fully onsite position based out of our Long Beach, CA office.
