Lead and coordinate inspections of Gulfstream aircraft and components, ensuring workmanship meets acceptable standards of quality and that aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation properly completed and filed.

The base compensation range for this role is $52.27 - $60.98 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by factors including qualifications, experience, and location.

• Responsible for quality control inspections on aircraft and components.
• Direct and coordinate inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved/acceptable data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
• Keep accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed on aircraft and components.
• Coordinate throughout assigned jobs with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service.
• Ensure aircraft and components are airworthy prior to any flight activities.
• Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
• Communicate with management as required to identify work assignments and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support to inspection personnel in supporting FAA and/or CAA documented requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong computer skills.
• Expert knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
• Expert knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation, shop mathematics and QC procedures.
• Expert knowledge and application of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control systems and methodologies.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical), including 4 years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience and 4 years of aircraft inspection experience.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
