Salary Range: $150,000 – $190,000, based on experience

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support both pre‑design and design phases on small to medium‑sized projects, which may include a mix of commercial and institutional buildings or be dedicated exclusively to healthcare facilities. You’ll apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, and prepare construction estimates and specifications. You’ll also manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts.

• Review existing as-built drawings
• Perform field investigations
• Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines
• Coordinate design schedules and deliverables
• Conduct feasibility studies
• Prepare schematic designs
• Perform energy calculations using Energy Pro or IES VE
• Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules
• Design lighting systems and controls
• Engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems
• Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies
• Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plus

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
• LEED Accreditation is a plus
• PE License is a plus

• 10+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare or commercial buildings
• Ability to lead projects from concept through construction
• Strong understanding of healthcare codes and standards

• AutoCAD required
• Revit experience preferred
• California Building Code or Washington Building Code
• National Electrical Code
• For California: HCAI/OSHPD experience (a plus)
• Net Zero Energy/Carbon design (a plus)
