Civil Engineer, in North America

Overview

Our Southern California team is growing, and we are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts on high‑profile projects across North America.

• Be a leading contributor to a team of engineers and technicians
• Solve engineering problems and challenges
• Perform designs, evaluations, calculations and drawings, and cost estimates
• Conduct site inspections and investigations as required
• Prepare standard documents such as technical specifications in accordance with applicable design codes
• Research and review design options for both technical and financial impact
• Prepare engineering reports and other technical documents

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or higher (master’s preferred) with 4–8 years of related experience in civil design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in California or the ability to obtain registration while employed
• Active participation in professional associations and willingness to learn
• Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with CADD analysis software programs
• Experience with site development, utilities and stormwater design

$88,000 to $136,200 for San Diego based on education, experience, skill set, and location.
