Strativ Group is partnered with a rapidly scaling aerospace company developing next-generation communications and RF systems for advanced spaceflight applications.

Backed by significant private investment, the team is building mission-critical hardware for future crewed orbital platforms and is now looking to hire an RF Antenna Engineer to support the development of advanced telemetry, tracking, and communications systems.

Overview

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the design, development, and testing of RF antenna systems for spaceflight applications.

You will work across the full hardware lifecycle — from concept and simulation through integration, testing, and deployment — collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineer and optimize RF antenna and communication solutions spanning VHF to Ka-band frequencies
  • Contribute to RF system architecture, technical evaluations, and end-to-end integration efforts
  • Develop, model, prototype, and validate RF components including antennas, filters, passive devices, and front-end circuitry
  • Conduct electromagnetic modeling, RF performance analysis, and hardware verification testing
  • Assist with system integration, qualification campaigns, and operational validation activities
  • Diagnose RF-related issues and implement enhancements to improve overall system performance
  • Partner with manufacturing and test engineering teams to support production and deployment readiness
  • Strong understanding of RF communications hardware including antennas, transceivers, LNAs, filters, amplifiers, and RF front-end architectures
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, integrating, or testing RF and antenna systems
  • Experience using simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, or SPICE
  • Practical lab experience with RF test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, SDRs, and Power Meters
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalent platforms
Preferred Experience
  • Background in aerospace, satellite, or spaceflight systems
  • Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDRs) and GNU Radio
  • Familiarity with antenna measurement and environmental testing
  • Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or C/C++
  • Experience supporting hardware through full development lifecycle
Why Apply
  • Competitive compensation + equity
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace hardware
  • High ownership environment with direct technical impact
  • Fast-growing team with strong long-term growth potential
