The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist (
Level 4) to join our Cabin Modifications, Maintenance (CMM) team in Long Beach, CA. The CMM team focuses on flawlessly executing the Interiors Modifications product line, supply chain, engineering and, in some cases, MRO execution that provides maximum lifecycle value and enables commercial airplane operators to meet the usage demands of flight crews and passengers.
- Work with the Airline Customer and the modifications Integrated Product Team (IPT) to develop SOW and ensure the overall proposal quality and accuracy relative to deliverables, capacity, costs, and schedule prior to customer offer.
- Lead all phases of assigned cross‑organizational proposals and projects, demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with industry standards (e.g., PMI, PMBOK).
- Serve as the prime point of contact for the Boeing customer and manage customer expectations and deliverables.
- Own modification SOW, configuration, and change management.
- Comprehensively execute schedule and cost performance, including estimate at completion.
- Manage risk, issues, and opportunities.
- Use written and communication skills to develop product or services SOW that satisfies airline customer requests.
- Upon customer acceptance, lead project execution to complete the work statement, manage performance metrics, plan, identify and coordinate resources required, and coordinate with internal and external customers to complete the project per plan.
- Identify and manage future changes to statement of work and incorporate lessons learned for future offerings.
- Maintain close interaction with engineering, supply chain, airline customers, Q/A, operations, finance, and airplane regulators.
- 5+ years of experience in a role requiring project/program management skills.
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders.
- 5+ years of experience leading/developing technical proposals.
- Business and/or project degrees & certifications (e.g., PMP, MBA, SSGB).
- 7+ years of experience working in an environment with competing and changing priorities.
- 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in project management or aerospace.
- Prior experience within commercial aviation modifications / retrofits.
- Bachelor’s degree or an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical).

Pay & BenefitsAt Boeing, the Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, and a suite of benefit programs. The specific benefits may vary based on eligibility, location, hiring date, and applicable collective bargaining agreements. Summary pay range: $126,650 - $171,350.
