We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support our healthcare studio in Long Beach or Irvine. The role focuses on innovative design, collaborative teamwork, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Position DetailsEmployment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Salary Range: $115,000–$150,000, based on experience. This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.

Location: Long Beach, CA or Irvine, CA
Responsibilities- Lead and support all phases of engineering projects—from proposal development through construction completion. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specifications, and working drawings. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development efforts.
- Pre-Design Engineering:
Review existing as-built drawings; perform field investigations; set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines; coordinate design schedules and deliverables; conduct feasibility studies; prepare schematic designs. - Design Engineering:
Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules; design lighting systems and controls; engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems; conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies; experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) License required
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
- LEED Accreditation is a plus
- 5+ years of engineering design and/or project management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with California Building Code and National Electrical Code
- HCAI/OSHPD standards (preferred);
Net Zero Energy/Carbon design (a plus);
Project management (preferred)
