Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Systems Safety Engineer to lead and execute aircraft-level and system-level safety activities. This role requires deep expertise in 14 CFR Part 25 development programs and hands-on experience applying ARP
4761 and related safety processes across complex aircraft systems.
- Lead Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), and System Safety Assessments (SSA)
- Develop and manage safety requirements derived from aircraft and system-level hazards
- Perform Common Cause Analyses including Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA), Particular Risk Analysis (PRA), and Common Cause Analysis (CCA)
- Collaborate closely with systems engineering, suppliers, and certification teams
- Support certification activities with authorities including compliance findings, safety artifacts, and contributions to the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 10-15 years experience on Part 25 aircraft development programs
- Strong working knowledge of ARP
4761, ARP
4754A, and related guidance - Proven experience performing FHA, PSSA, SSA, and CCA across multiple aircraft systems
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced development environment
- Experience supporting experimental or first-of-type aircraft programs
- Familiarity with FAA and EASA certification processes
- Experience interfacing directly with suppliers and regulators Strong technical writing and presentation skills
