Work Schedule:

Hybrid — 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Salary Range: $150,000–$190,000, based on experience. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.

General Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead and support all phases of engineering projects—from proposal development through construction completion—this role will be dedicated exclusively to healthcare facilities. You'll apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, and prepare construction estimates and specifications. You'll also manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts.

  • Review existing as-built drawings
  • Perform field investigations
  • Coordinate design schedules and deliverables
  • Conduct feasibility studies
  • Design power single line and riser diagrams
  • Design low voltage and medium voltage infrastructure.
  • Design for electrical equipment (substation, switchboard, transformer, panel board) replacement projects.
  • Understand andutilizeCAD/BIM standards.
  • Have a working knowledge of National Electrical Code and Energy Standards to design electrical systems.
  • Coordination among different disciplines, such as mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural. Work in close contact with the entire design team.
  • Experience with low-voltage building systems (fire alarm, security, voice/data, nurse call) is a plus
Education & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • LEED accreditation is a plus
  • PE license is a plus
Experience Required
  • 10+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare or commercial buildings
  • Ability to lead projects from concept through construction
  • Strong understanding of healthcare codes and standards
  • Experience using NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
  • Familiarity with:
    California Building Code and National Electrical Code
  • HCAI/OSHPD standards
  • Project management (preferred)
