Our client, an industry leader in infrastructure and industrial development, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable success within the organization.
Job Title:Structural Engineer
Location:Long Beach, California
Pay Range:$120,000 - $150,000
What's the Job?- Develop conceptual and detailed structural designs for industrial projects including Oil & Gas facilities, manufacturing plants, and power infrastructure.
- Prepare structural calculations and analyses in compliance with applicable codes such as ASCE 7, IBC, and IEEE standards.
- Create and review drawings, sketches, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Conduct site visits, field assessments, and review existing conditions to inform design solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required;
California PE license preferred. - Proficiency with structural design software such as RISA-3D, RAM Connection, and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and within teams.
