Relativity Space is seeking a Responsible Engineer to own the design, development, and test of Aeon-R heat shield components for Terran R engines. You will design, analyze, and qualify heat shield hardware and work across Propulsion, Vehicle, and Manufacturing teams to ensure safe re-use of hardware from launch through landing.
You will iterate designs using flight data, mentor junior engineers, and spend time on the manufacturing floor to capture real-world feedback that informs future upgrades.
