Conversion Crew Lead - Long Beach Amphitheater

Reports To:

Conversion Supervisor. FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt. Compensation: $27.20 per hour, with an anticipated increase to $29.70 effective October 1, 2026.

The Conversion Crew Lead assists in the supervision of the conversions to accommodate sports, entertainment and concert productions and ensures that conversions are completed safely, in the configuration needed for each event, and in a timely, thorough manner.

• Physically perform and assist with event setups, changeovers, and daily operational tasks.
• Act on all relevant information from Operations Manager and Event Manager for event setups and changeovers.
• Assist with overnight conversion team to ensure appropriate flooring, risers and portable seating are set for incoming talent/events.
• Participate in day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Perform facility operational tasks required in keeping up the facility on non-event days.
• Work closely with operations and other departments on various projects as needed.
• Lead a small team of part‑time employees through the conversion process.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of facility operations, changeovers and setups, including operations equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, basketball floors, football, hockey, etc.).
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as event schedule requires.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi‑task.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast‑paced setting.
