Salary Range: $33.00 Hourly
SUMMARYResponsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all slot machines on the Casino floor. Directly oversees the slot repair operation and supervises all Slot Technician Team Members.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Provides constant feedback to the Executive Director of Gaming on the technical and operational status of all slot machines on the Casino floor.
- Supervises all Slot Technicians and provides guidance and instruction on machine operations and maintenance.
- Initiates, conducts, and coordinates training requirements as necessary for Slot Technicians to be educated on the latest developments in slot machine maintenance and repair.
- Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Casino regulations.
- Communicates regularly the condition and status of all machines on the slot floor, making recommendations where necessary to ensure 100% operation of all machines.
- Maintains appropriate repair maintenance records for the Slot Department.
- Utilizes Oasis software to track machine maintenance and other applicable module features.
- Ensures adequate staffing levels for Slot Technicians according to business volumes, special events and planned machine conversion/moves.
- Coordinate new machine installations, removing machines from floor, machine moves, and machine/game conversions.
- Develops, and periodically reviews, policies and procedures for the Slot Tech Department.
- Monitors Team Member performance, attendance, and knowledge levels, and takes appropriate action when necessary.
- Performs regular Team Member conversation and provides meaningful feedback.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- College degree or a minimum of 4 years experience in a technically related field, preferably in a casino environment. Prior slot repair/technician or extensive electronic/computer experience preferred.
- Must have 1-2 years prior supervisory experience. Experience in slots preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with Team Members and Guests.
- Must have good computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to communicate using portable 2-way radios and/or cell phones.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
- Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
- Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
- Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
