Our client is a growing manufacturing/CPG business with a strong market presence. They are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting and finance functions. Position Overview:

The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This individual will be a strategic partner to senior leadership while also ensuring day-to-day accounting functions run smoothly. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing or consumer goods and is comfortable working in a hands-on, leadership-driven environment.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Manage cost accounting, inventory controls, and financial analysis to support operational efficiency
• Lead internal controls and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions
• Optimize ERP systems and financial reporting tools to improve efficiency
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Background in consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books, or similar)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
