This position is based out of our Santa Clarita or Bakersfield, CA office and is eligible for a 9/80 schedule. The base annual salary for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $75K to $93K, with a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including education, experience level and relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the month-end close process; create back up schedules & prepare journal entries
  • Prepare timely reconciliation of related P&L and Balance Sheet account activity
  • Prepare, review and coordinate the distribution of monthly Cost Center reports, comparing actual versus budget, for distribution to Department managers
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports to Financial Reporting; review results for validity and accuracy of data
  • Assist with annual budgets and monthly re-forecasts, including the Treasury Cash forecast
  • Prepare interim and year-end audit schedules, tax schedules, special management reports and government reports
  • Assist with documentation for external and internal auditors as required
  • Special projects as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Accounting preferred)
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate proactive attitude, showing and taking initiative
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management, operations, and external owners.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and interact effectively in a team environment
