Senior Finance Manager Needed For Innovative and Growing Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year

We are a Tier 1 aerospace and defense manufacturer operating across Santa Ana and Long Beach, building flight‑critical hardware that has flown on our customers' platforms for decades. Our work spans airframe structures, landing gear, composite pressure vessels, and propulsion systems for defense, commercial aerospace, and space programs, making us one of the more capable independent suppliers in the region.

Corporate FP&A for a manufacturing business — you own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast, and budget for an entity, site, or division, and translate factory cost performance into decisions leadership can act on.

• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast, and budget for an entity, site, or division
• Build and maintain financial models and forecasts as the core of the role
• Analyze manufacturing cost performance—absorption, variances, standard cost, inventory valuation, COGS, and gross margin—and explain the drivers to leadership
• Provide P&L, balance sheet, and income statement analysis at the entity level
• Partner with operations and site leadership to connect factory performance to financial results

• FP&A / corporate finance with demonstrated ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and AOP for an entity, site, or division — not a supporting role on someone else's number
• Manufacturing cost fluency: absorption, variances, capitalization, inventory valuation, standard cost, COGS, and gross margin
• Manager or Senior Manager caliber scope — ownership breadth matters more than title band
• Manufacturing industry background (any sector—A&D, industrial, medical device, automotive, contract manufacturing)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field [to confirm]
• Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
  • Aerospace and defense manufacturing
  • Standard-cost / absorption environments
  • ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
