Intex Recreation Corp. (IRC) is the exclusive sales associate and distributor of INTEX branded products in the United States and Canada. IRC sells to multiple classes of retail including mass market, internet, club, sporting goods, grocery, toy, housewares, department, as well as local distributors. The INTEX product lines include Air Mattresses, Above Ground Pools, Inflatable Pool Floats, Pool Accessories, Inflatable Boats and Kayaks, and after-sale consumer parts.

We are seeking for a highly motivated HR Recruiter/Trainer with a strong background in talent acquisition and employee development, preferably within the recreational products, toy, or consumer product industry. This position will be responsible for driving global talent strategies to attract top talent and designing and delivering effective training programs that support employee growth, enhance performance, and align with organizational goals.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for roles across the company, with a focus on sales and operations.
• Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract high-quality candidates.
• Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting strategies.
• Utilize innovative sourcing methods and maintain a strong talent pipeline.

Training & Development

• Design, develop, and deliver engaging targeted training programs for managers and staff, focusing on performance, leadership, and compliance.
• Support and execute end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensure new hires are fully equipped for success.
• Conduct needs assessments and collaboration with department leaders to identify skill gaps and development.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and make continuous improvements.
• Support broader HR initiatives including employee engagement, performance reviews, and retention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records, training documentation, including orientation, compliance documentation, exit interviews, and knowledge/information retention and transition.
• Duties may be expanded or modified as business needs evolve.

• Some travel will be required to support hiring efforts, deliver training, and ensure alignment with organizational HR initiatives.

• 4+ years of experience in HR with a focus on recruiting and employee training.
• Prior experience in recreational products, toys, or consumer goods industry preferred.
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and federal/state labor laws.
• Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees across all levels.
• Experienced in leveraging ATS tools to assess and optimize hiring effectiveness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong overall computer and software skills.
• High attention to detail and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (HR certification a plus).
