Aleut is seeking a Cyberspace Operations Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on 1 January 2027 (contingent upon contract award). The GET initiative enhances the training of enlisted Guardians as technical specialists and leaders across satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations.

• Perform curriculum development and instruction across a wide range of Cyberspace Operations disciplines including:
  • Foundational IT and cyberspace operations curriculum; introduce cyber concepts, systems, terminology, and basic cyber tradecraft supporting GET-CYBER.
  • Cyber warfare to include cyber mission planning, defensive cyber operations, mission execution, debriefing, and cyber mission force concepts; support cyber-focused exercises and integrated operations.
  • Develop and teach networking and cyber infrastructure curriculum; instruct students on network operations, architectures, cyber ranges, and defensive cyber operations concepts.
• Assess and mentor students.
• Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction.
• Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities.
• Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts.
• Maintain LMS records and student documentation.
• Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
• Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
• Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.

• Bachelor’s degree required or Community College of the Air Force associates degree in Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ISD-based curriculum/lesson development.
• Minimum 3 years of space experience in the specific mission area of this position with a U.S. Government agency.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a formal instructor or 5 years as a briefer/public speaker.

• Work on‑site, indoor office and classroom environment.

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds.
