Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise application implementations, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancement projects across the business. This person will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, developers, vendors, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure business needs are clearly understood, documented, validated, and delivered.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated, hands‑on experience leading requirements sessions, documenting BRDs/FRDs, creating process flows, developing wireframes or mockups, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinating UAT. This role is focused on true Business Systems Analysis and Business Analysis responsibilities — not primarily reporting, BI development, data analytics, data engineering, or platform administration.
Key Responsibilities- Lead requirements elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, discovery workshops, and business process discussions.
- Document business requirements, functional requirements, business rules, BRDs, FRDs, and high‑level solution designs.
- Create current‑state and future‑state process flows, workflow diagrams, screen flows, and system interaction documentation.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual documentation to help business and technical teams align on solutions.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, test scenarios, and supporting project documentation.
- Partner with business stakeholders to validate requirements, confirm priorities, and obtain stakeholder sign‑off.
- Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure delivered solutions align with approved business needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and support User Acceptance Testing, including test case development, defect tracking, business validation, and production readiness.
- Serve as the liaison between business users, developers, QA, vendors, project managers, and technical teams.
- Support enterprise application implementations, system integrations, enhancements, upgrades, workflow improvements, and process modernization initiatives.
- Assist with change management, release planning, training documentation, and post‑go‑live support.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong hands‑on experience creating BRDs, FRDs, business rules, process flows, and functional documentation.
- Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and UAT documentation.
- Ability to create current‑state and future‑state workflows, process maps, wireframes, mockups, and screen flows.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise application implementations, system enhancements, integrations, or process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for developers, vendors, and technical teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing requirements validation, traceability, approvals, and stakeholder sign‑off.
- Logistics, supply chain, warehouse, transportation, distribution, or 3PL industry experience.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, EDI, API integrations, order management, inventory, billing, or operational systems.
- Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, Balsamiq, or similar tools.
- Experience with Salesforce, Net Suite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, High Jump/Körber, or other enterprise applications.
- SQL, Postman, API documentation, data mapping, or integration exposure.
- Experience supporting legacy system modernization, system retirement, or application migration projects.
