Overview
Join a dynamic litigation team tackling complex civil rights and public entity cases. Salary: $175,000 - $210,000 per year. Will consider part-time hours. This Job is hosted by Kat Lawrence.
Responsibilities- Lead complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Develop and execute case strategies, including motion practice and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and discovery responses
- Manage client communications and provide strategic counsel throughout proceedings
- Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and support staff on assigned matters
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Ensure compliance with all procedural and ethical standards
- JD Required
- Member of CA Bar in good standing
- 12+ years of litigation experience
- Prior experience with civil litigation or public entity liability defense
- Familiarity with constitutional and civil rights discrimination cases
- Proficiency in legal research platforms and case management systems
