Under the general supervision of the Manager of Custodial Services and immediate supervision of the Supervising Custodian, performscustodial, janitorial, and maintenance duties in assigned areas andother related work as assigned.

• Maintains neat and clean facilities for faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Removes Trash/Recycle paper, cardboard and various materials.
• Maintains facility safety procedures and security measures.
• Positive interaction and communication of custodial activities.
• Maintains and operates vacuums, wet/dry vacuums, buffers, autoscrubbers, blowers, etc. for maintaining carpets, tile floors, and exterior areas.

This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

CSU Classification Salary Range (Part-Time, 0.50 FTE): $1,730.50-$2,376 per month.

• Paid Time Off: Up to 24 vacation days per year(based on employee group and/or length of service), 14 paid holidays, and 12 sick days annually with unlimited accrual.
