Job Description & How to Apply Below

Gunn Jerkens is seeking an Account Manager who wants more than just running accounts. This role is for a leader, decision-maker and strategic partner who wants to contribute meaningfully to the success—and future—of the agency.

We’re looking for someone who understands the details but thinks beyond them. Someone who can lead client relationships, guide internal teams and help shape how Gunn Jerkens grows, adapts and competes in a rapidly changing industry.

Gunn Jerkens is a fully integrated branding and digital marketing agency based in Long Beach, California. We specialize in placemaking, brand strategy and performance-driven marketing for homebuilders and developers nationwide.

We work together, in person, and we value people who bring perspective, judgment and leadership to the table. We respect experience, reward initiative and believe the best work happens when talented people are trusted to think, decide and lead. As technology—and AI in particular—continues to reshape our industry, we’re focused on using it thoughtfully to strengthen our work, our teams and our clients’ outcomes.

This is a full-time, in-office position
. Collaboration, accountability and leadership are part of the job, not add-ons.

The Role

As an Account Manager at Gunn Jerkens, you are a leader within the agency. You own client relationships, guide internal teams and make decisions that balance client goals, team capacity and long-term agency priorities.

You’ll be expected to think strategically, act decisively and contribute to conversations that go beyond individual projects. This role requires someone who can get into the weeds when needed—but who always understands the bigger picture and where the agency is headed.

This is not a task-only role. It’s an opportunity to help shape the future of Gunn Jerkens. You’ll work alongside senior leadership to influence strategy, make decisions that impact client success and agency growth, and help evolve how we approach marketing, storytelling and technology in an AI-shaped landscape—contributing to stronger relationships, smarter processes and long-term success for both the company and your career.
