The Stage Manufacturing team turns design into reality, owning the build of Terran R’s primary structures. This is a 2nd-shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM PT, Monday through Friday, with a 10% shift differential on top of the base rate. The position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.

Assisting in your first-hand operations on the factory floor, you will run equipment, prepare welds for welding, blend and deburr, and support critical lift operations. You will perform precision blending/deburr, in-process inspections with hand tools, and uphold high safety and shop cleanliness standards.

• Assist in FSW operations: running equipment, preparing and post-weld blending.
• Complete standard lift operations or assist in critical lift operations.
• Perform precision blending/deburr using power or hand tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, and pi tape.
• Uphold safety, shop cleanliness and high Relativity Space standards.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.

• Experience with material joining processes (friction stir welding, arc welding, soldering, brazing, etc).
• Experience with metal fabrication techniques (forming, bending, etc).
• Proficiency in the use of common hand tools and inspection tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other communication tools such as Slack.

• Experience with rigging and crane operations.
• Experience with machining equipment (mill, lathe, etc).
• Experience running CNC equipment or robotics.
• Familiarity with NDT operations.
