About the Role:Join PACIFIC TEXTURING AND LASER INC as a Plastic Injection Mold Texturing Technician in Riverside, CA! This exciting opportunity allows you to work with cutting‑edge technology in a dynamic environment, where your skills will contribute to creating high‑quality textured molds. Anything made from plastic comes from a mold. Automotive, medical, aerospace, consumer items such as electronics or toys etc. We work with the metal molds themselves to add any industry standard cosmetic/ functional textures as per our customer's design.
Entry level applicants welcome - training provided. This is a niche industry so prior experience is hard to come by. Advertised salary mid range of what we are willing to offer for a technician with SPECIFICALLY mold texturing experience. Willing to adjust depending on experience/mold texturing resume.
Responsibilities:Apply various texturing techniques to achieve desired surface finishes on molds.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure texture meet specifications and standards according to provided drawings.
Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges as they arise.
Requirements:Proven experience in plastic injection molding or mold texturing (for higher level offer - entry level applicants welcome and we train.)
Strong understanding of mold design and manufacturing processes huge plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
