We are seeking an Assembler I to be responsible for assembling parts and components according to our manufacturing operating procedures. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities- Use hand and/or power tools (such as wire stripper, crimper, drills, soldering station) to assemble and/or package a complete product from scratch or sub-assemblies
- Acknowledge and communicate product rejects/non-conforming items to production leads to resolve
- Receive and maintain certified trained status for updated revisions in all relevant Production Lines and their individual stations
- Document production activities accurately and promptly
- Report any issues or defects to the production lead/supervisor immediately
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs
- Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional activities as needed
- Work schedule may include shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands
- Consistently maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English, as well as verbal instructions, to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Strong work ethic, ability to take direction, and willingness to ask questions when clarity is needed
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods
- Ability to plan, track, and complete assignments in a timely manner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience
- Experience with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
