Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our client’s growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating precision sheet metal components, reading and interpreting blueprints, and operating fabrication equipment including press brakes and fiber laser cutting machines. Experience working with fiberglass is highly preferred.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to fabricate parts accurately.
• Set up and operate press brakes to bend and form sheet metal to specification.
• Operate fiber laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform basic machine setup, tooling changes, and routine maintenance.
• Measure materials and finished products using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Minimum of 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience operating press brakes (preferred)
• Experience operating fiber laser cutting machines (preferred)
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Experience working with fiberglass fabrication and finishing.
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is a plus.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Experience in a custom fabrication or manufacturing environment.
