• Contract – 13 Weeks
• Full-Time | 10-Hour Day Shifts | 40 Guaranteed Hours

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our surgical team on a 13‑week contract. The CVOR RN will provide high‑quality perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes in a fast‑paced acute care environment.

• Provide circulating nurse support in cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Assist with cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team members
• Ensure proper documentation using Cerner/Surgi Net EMR system
• Maintain sterile technique and adherence to OR protocols
• Participate in on‑call rotation and weekend coverage as required
• Float within OR specialties when needed

• 10‑hour day shifts
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend coverage required (EOW rotation)
• On‑call required with 30‑minute response time
• Holiday coverage required
• First to float within OR specialties

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or OR nursing experience
• Active RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• BSN not required
• Strong experience in cardiovascular OR procedures preferred

• 1 CVOR suite
• Approx. 2 cases per week
• 2 circulators per case
• Cerner / Surgi Net EMR system
• Scrubbing not required (preferred)
• Charge RN assigns daily staffing
• Scrubs provided

$3,500.00 - $3,800.00 per week
