Registered Veterinary Technician

Experienced RVT Wanted for our busy private-practice animal hospitals in Long Beach, CA.

Bixby Animal Clinic are looking for new team members to add to our general practice department.

We offer a structured training program run by a dedicated training manager for ALL levels of technicians, whether you are just starting your career or have been working in the field for 10 years.

We practice the highest quality medicine using the latest technologies. You'll have many opportunities to use your expertise as you provide exceptional patient care. At our small animal general practice, we perform all types of surgeries, and we bring in board-certified internists, cardiologists and orthopedic surgeons for specialty cases. You'll have many opportunities to grow your skill set.

Great customer service skills are a MUST.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• venipuncture
• IV catheter placement
• monitoring anesthesia
• performing cystocentesis
• taking digital x-rays
• administering vaccines
• preparing estimates for clients
• assisting doctors
• restraining pets
• etc.

Previous experience with Ezy Vet and Smartflow software is preferred.

We are currently hiring full-time positions on a flexible 4/10 workweek. We're open 7 days a week.

You must be available to work either Saturdays or Sundays.

Compensation will depend on experience.
