Part Time Support Lead

This role supports store leadership and customer service goals across the organization.

• Ensure all crew members are wowING the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience to ensure a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring duties are performed effectively and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure items are quickly placed on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage the opening or closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring a smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance tasks (e.g., cleaning, trash removal, bathroom upkeep, stock room organization).

• High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking and ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Frequently operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place or remove items up to 5–10 feet high.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve or store stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock areas and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in person or by phone.
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and manage stock room activity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for approximately 80% of the time.

Pay range for this position is $17.40 to $17.65 per hour. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including knowledge, skills, experience, educational background, and geographic location.
