Position Summary

Sam’s Club #6613 is seeking a Meat Team Associate for 7480 Carson Blvd, Long Beach, CA . The associate will cut, package, and display fresh meat products while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

• Prepare and trim boneless and other meat products to established standards.
• Package, label, and store product while ensuring quality and date‑control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and member‑ready work area.
• Provide friendly and accurate assistance to members, answering product questions and guiding purchasing decisions.
• Use handheld technology to make production decisions and track inventory.
• Assist with cross‑training and support other departments when needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and report opportunities for operational excellence.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Experience in a retail or food‑service setting.
• Knowledge of meat industry terminology and cutting techniques.
• Previous use of handheld or point‑of‑sale technology.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $27.00. Additional performance incentives may be offered. The hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
