Position: MEMBER SPECIALIST

Position Summary

Providing member service at Sam's Club checkout, including assistance with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, while ensuring member satisfaction and maintaining safety and security protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent member service and resolve member issues and concerns.
  • Process member purchases and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies.
  • Maintain checkout area and entrance/exit areas, ensuring organization and safety.
  • Zone the sales floor, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
  • Follow company safety standards, including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Assist in securing Sam’s Club assets and property by observing and reporting potential criminal activity.
  • Maintain required documentation, logs, and paperwork; execute emergency response procedures.
  • Train and mentor new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and technology.
  • Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and customers to meet priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Support company values of Integrity, Respect for the Individual, and Excellence in performance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a high‑volume retail environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Additional premium compensation may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
