We’re looking for a dynamic, fun, problem‑solving, and reliable Department Supervisor to lead and support specific sectors of our daily operations. In this role, you will act as a critical shift leader and trusted keyholder—ensuring that your department’s activities are compliant, efficient, customer‑focused, and aligned with store performance goals. This position focuses on guiding team members, maintaining strict compliance, safeguarding inventory or intake accuracy, and opening/closing the facility securely.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring open availability and a willingness to step into floor positions (budtending, reception, or fulfillment) when operational needs arise.

• Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hour, depending on experience + Tips.

• Hours: 40 hours per week (Overtime as operationally required)
• Availability: Open availability required (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Flexibility: Must be ready to fill in for any team position during staffing shortages.

• Act as a designated keyholder responsible for the secure opening and closing of the facility, including arming/disarming alarms and securing vaults.
• Lead by example within your assigned department with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Act as the primary point of contact for staff during your shift, keeping operations running smoothly under pressure.
• Delegate daily tasks clearly to team members, ensuring accountability and strict adherence to company policy.
• Coach and support team members in real‑time to deliver an elevated, welcoming customer experience.

• Maintain an expert‑level understanding of California state (DCC) and local cannabis regulations within your department.
• Oversee shift compliance regarding meticulous , daily purchase limits, and proper product handling.
• Ensure all sales or inventory adjustments are processed accurately through our point‑of‑sale system (Dutchie POS experience preferred).
• Keep your department and the facility clean, safe, organized, and welcoming at all times.

• Oversee shift‑level inventory controls, including cycle counts, daily drawer reconciliations, and vault safety.
• Ensure products are beautifully merchandised, fully stocked, and correctly priced.
• Assist in minimizing inventory shrink, product loss, and compliance discrepancies during your shift.
• Support the successful execution of marketing campaigns and brand promotions.

• Monitor daily cash handling, track orders, and perform shift‑end drawer drop and reconciliation procedures.
• Maintain constant, clear communication with the Dispensary Manager and upper management regarding department performance or tech issues.
• Assist with tracking shift KPIs and motivating the team to meet daily sales targets.

• Previous supervisory, department lead, or keyholder experience required. Dispensary Leadership a plus but not required.
• Hands‑on experience with Dutchie POS or a similar cannabis retail POS system.
• Strong understanding of cannabis products, compliance frameworks, and daily retail workflows.
• Proven ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and prioritize in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (per state regulations) and willing to pass a regulatory Live Scan background check.
