Position Summary
Sam's Club is seeking a Management Associate to support the daily operations of the club while ensuring high standards of customer service and safety are met.
What You'll Do- Assist management by supervising assigned associates, assigning duties, and providing training on processes and procedures.
- Communicate goals and feedback, coach and evaluate associates, and support the Open Door Policy for open communication.
- Maintain safety of the facility, conduct safety sweeps, handle forklift spotting, hazardous materials, and report unsafe conditions.
- Support the club’s e‑commerce plan by overseeing operations of programs such as Club Pick‑Up, Ship‑From‑Club, and auditing online customer feedback.
- Supervise associates involved in e‑commerce and pickup programs, ensuring coverage and providing necessary resources.
- Execute the Sam's Club Pickup plan, update key performance indicators, audit customer orders, and maintain equipment readiness.
- Evaluate CPU performance, train associates, use metrics to improve processes, and develop new metrics.
- Lead process improvement projects, identify operational gaps, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
- Provide member service, resolve member complaints, assist with self‑service technology, and promote company products.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged correctly.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs through collaboration.
- Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
- Coordinate and execute work assignments while providing coaching and support for timelines and quality.
- Encourage a culture of belonging, respect, and teamwork and help associates thrive.
- Act with integrity, hold yourself and others accountable, and support Walmart’s goals for a regenerative community.
- Deliver results with a customer‑first focus and make decisions based on reliable information.
- Drive continuous improvements, embrace new technologies, and support others through change.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if selected.
