Position Summary
If our members choose fruits & vegetables at Sam’s Club because they get quality & fresh food at low cost, as a produce team member you’ll make important decisions about produce quality, ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness. You’ll be front-line customer service where your smile helps members’ shopping experience.

Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate associates, develop interpersonal skills, provide customer service, be flexible, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to produce quality, prepare, trim, crisp, package, and scale products, maintain safety and sanitation guidelines, and comply with laws and company policies.
Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve experience, engage associates, use handheld technology to make immediate decisions, adapt to new tools and encourage others.
Be an Owner: drive performance, use perpetual inventory management, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, guide peers, and assist customers.
Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department, model high-quality service, execute basics at a high level, show energy, commitment, and passion.
Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, use the open door policy, apply policies to business processes. Complete work assignments prioritizing policies, data, resources; collaborate; identify priorities; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change.
