Senior Account Manager - Electronic Components

Location:
Austin, TX

A leading organization in the electronic component distribution space is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join its dynamic Sales team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to play a key part in driving strategic growth, enhancing client relationships, and contributing meaningfully to the company’s market expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Oversee and develop a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and support to maintain strong client satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Present tailored product and service solutions that meet clients’ needs and drive long-term value.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments—including sales, operations, purchasing, and logistics—to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Client Engagement

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Participate in occasional business travel to conduct in-person meetings and reinforce client partnerships.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work in close coordination with the business development team to ensure alignment on sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and feedback from the market to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a related commercial role, preferably within the electronic components industry or a technical B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales enablement tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically for client engagements.
