Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Sr. Inside Sales Representative to support telephone and walk‑in customers with rental of all types of construction and industrial equipment.

Position Summary

The Sr. Equipment Rental Specialist is the front line of contact with the customer, tasked with understanding equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and delivering a professional customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls for equipment rentals.
  • Assist walk‑in customers and place rental orders.
  • Provide strong administrative support, including order entry and documentation.
  • Support logistics of dispatching equipment delivery.
  • Train and mentor other team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the equipment rental industry, or a 4‑year degree plus 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong customer service and telephone skills.
  • Solid computer and administrative skills.
  • Successful completion of DOT qualification process preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other) preferred in some locations.
Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working both indoors and outdoors as needed.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $26.46 – $31.41 per hour, depending on location, education, training, and experience.
