Med Tech Sales – Clinical Sales – Surgeons (Commission)
Location:
Los Angeles, California, United States
As a Sales Consultant, you will develop and maintain surgeon‑level relationships within a geographic territory, driving product sales and delivering clinical value to surgeons and healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and plan: identify and qualify prospective surgeons, develop surgeon‑specific plans to grow sales.
- Meet sales goals and quotas using approved resources.
- Drive product sales for assigned products, demonstrating proper utilization.
- Build relationships with key surgeons, OR personnel and hospital personnel.
- Maintain contact with prospects or new customers and provide support during surgical cases.
- Provide customer care and education through in‑services and workshops.
- Manage inventory of sales equipment and promotional materials.
- Handle competitive threats and promote new/special emphasis products.
- Implement a balanced product mix plan in the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree + minimum 3 years of professional and related experience.
- Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum 5 years of experience.
- Minimum 8 years of professional and related experience.
- Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty + minimum 3 years of experience.
- Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
- Willingness to travel, including weekends and overnight.
- Residence or ability to relocate to the territory.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in data analysis and excellent problem‑solving.
- Results orientation and prioritization.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Partnership and collaboration in a complex reporting structure.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, basic surgery.
- Technical product knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures (preferred).

CompensationSalary range: $56,000 – $100,000 per year. Eligible for company sales incentive program and long‑term incentive program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, legal insurance, retirement plan (401(k)), and vacation/sick/holiday pay up to specified limits.
